Endpoint security for small businesses
Start with the people, computers and data you must protect. Test installation, updates and recovery on representative machines before expanding a deployment.
Build a PC inventory
List workstations, owners, operating systems and business applications, including remote workers and shared PCs. Separate workstations from servers. A Windows PC licence does not establish support for server workloads. Record machines needing an operating-system upgrade before rollout.
Calculate the licence requirement
PremiumAV Enterprise uses per-endpoint annual pricing. Choose endpoints and paid years and review the server-calculated total. Home presets use different rules. Compare edition scope and the final total rather than treating a one-PC banner price as the cost for the whole organization.
Define management needs
Decide who owns installation, policy changes, alerts and escalation. Ask for evidence for the exact enrolled endpoint and access-control workflows you require. A dashboard screenshot alone does not demonstrate that every management or response function is qualified for your environment.
Pilot representative machines
Use ordinary business PCs with your usual documents and applications. Check updates, clean-file access, restarts, licence status and support access. Plan how to reverse a rollout through supported procedures if it affects an application. Keep a written acceptance checklist.
Maintain operational safeguards
Restrict administrator access, protect backups and periodically review device ownership and licence allocation. Record incident contacts and isolation procedures. Obtain explicit written scope for server support, managed response or compliance requirements before purchase.
Questions and answers
How is Enterprise priced?
Enterprise is priced per endpoint per year. The Enterprise page and checkout show regional pricing for the selected endpoints and years.
Does a PC licence qualify server protection?
No. Server support and specialist workloads require separate qualification.
